Testimonial of a satisfied client

Last year I had the opportunity to rediscover my passion for cycling. As I clocked up the kilometers, my bike rides got lengthier and more varied. What began as simple rides to work or around the West Island became rides out to Hudson, Oka, Valleyfield, Chateauguay, Saint-Donat, Morin Heights, Cornwall….. Ferry rides, winding country roads, the thrill of the fresh air and the amazing sights and vistas were incredible; mix in the camaraderie of riding with friends and you have a near perfect adventure.

By the end of last summer I realized that I needed to upgrade my loyal entry level Trek to a faster bike and easier on hills. I never imagined how complex and diversified bikes had become with all the new technology. The options were mind boggling. I did visit a few shops/distributors to at least narrow down the brand. A circuitous road brought me right back to my starting point, Paul's Cycle. I could ask as many questions as I wished or needed; no blank or, even worse, the dreaded "impatient" look. They answered every single question with patience and knowledge, and when their answers triggered more questions, they answered those too. I test drove a few Treks and my final decision was a Trek Madone 6.7 SSL WSD with every component I needed.

I could have bought a bike in a box anywhere but I want service before AND after. With cycling, at any level, there is always an endless stream of questions that arise and it's important for your safety that you have the full support of your bike shop to answer all these questions. Your bike shop is an integral part of your cycling; they are your support team.

I must have asked the team at Paul's cycle over a gazillion questions this year, and yup I have a gazillion more coming their way and I know that they will answer every single one with grace and good humor. Thank you Ray, Pierre-Paul, James, Phil, Simon, Gabriel & Max. Thank you for all your help, support, knowledge and especially your fun attitude.

You are, without any doubt, my friends and MY bike shop!

See you on the road!
